"My mother referred this clinic after a great experience there. I have agree with her. The staff are warm, welcoming and friendly. The vet was informative and spent the time to explain procedures and options. The facility leaves a bit to be desired, driving by it looks like a little hole in the wall place. I would never have stopped there except my mother recommended the vet. Looks can be deceiving, the facility is clean and tidy on the inside. Like any vet visit cost is always a factor. This facilities prices for neutering, vaccinations and microchipping are far less than any other vet I have visited in the past. I had a very good experience here. I will bring my pets here for care as long as I live in this area. Thank you for reading!"

"This place is awesome. They saved my puppy. My GS puppy was throwing up and I took him to emergency hospital where doctors were not able to find any thing on x-rays. They just gave me anti vomition medicine, but to no avail. I waited for a day without any improvement and then I brought him to Mchenry Pet Hospital. Doctors here did many tests and x-rays on him and diagnosed intestinal obstruction, and they removed two socks from his belly and then kept him hospitalized for 2 days. He is completely healthy now. I was worried that it will cost a fortune but everything was done under $950
+1 I also come here for vaccinations because they offer half price vaccinations on fridays and I also refer this hospital to all my friends and family.

"We have been going to McHenry Pet Hospital and Dr. Brar ever since Dr. Shakir left Riverside. We have nothing but praise for the Dr., staff and facility. They have helped us through a loss of our cat and the now welcoming of a new kitten to our family.
Most recently, our American Bulldog, Pink was limping and favoring her right leg. We thought she had just sprained it, however, as it did not heal we took her to see Dr. Brar. She ended up needing an extensive surgery called TPLO where the ligament she had ruptured in her right knee was effectively bypassed and replaced with a metal plate. Now (less than 6 months later) you can't even tell she ever had a problem. Dr. Brar and his staff were caring and provided excellent instruction on at home care to help in her healing process. Within 6 weeks she used her leg as she had before the problem had arose. We are amazed and so grateful! She now runs and plays with our other American Bulldog with no problems at all.

"I had a wonderful visit with McHenry Pet Hospital. The Staff were friendly and answered all my questions. I am going through a difficult financial time and took advantage of the half priced Friday vaccination. The vet was super kind and encouraged questions. He was willing to spend a little extra time to make sure we were happy. Tashi my Lhasa was as relaxed as the vet was very gentle. Thank you to the staff for making his visit affordable and fun! "i don't have a facebook so I am using my moms because I want people to know what outstanding service I received tonight. They gave me a 6pm appointment when I called at 2pm. Dr. Brar is amazing he is the cat whisperer. Normally at the vet my cat is sooo stressed. She laid down on the table and welcomed pets. "After having to bring a dying cat to them and receiving amazingly understanding, patient and sympathetic care there, we decided this is "Our Vet". We have been there quite a bit in the last two months with our cats being ill. The staff and doctors are great with people and pets, and we never leave feeling like we've broken the bank to keep our kitties healthy."
